Documentary-style wedding photography is a storytelling approach that seeks the natural, candid moments, and encourages a mindful presence to your day. This lends to timeless photos rooted in authenticity, while giving you more time to enjoy each other, your people, and the environment. My hope is that you feel like you have a celebration, not a photoshoot.

  • I treat photographs as both art and heirloom. My hope is that your images hold a place in your heart and that they become a part of your relationship’s history. I see photography as a beautiful medium to record time and I make sure to study, consult, and pursue continuing education to better my craft. And to say I’m inspired by nature and our place in it would be putting it lightly, so I always try to get outside for new ideas.

    I approach weddings with a documentary style, often referred to as candid or editorial. This is a storytelling approach that showcases the natural, spontaneous moments, and allows you to be more present on your day. Part of what I love about this method is it lends itself to a more timeless appearance, rooted in authenticity, while giving you more time to enjoy each other, your people, and your surroundings. My aim is for you to feel like you are celebrating and not at a photoshoot.

  • My fee for weddings and elopements is $4250 within Oregon. Destination prices will vary by location.

      Scouting locations, and, as a certified aviation weather observer (no joke) I can provide timely weather reports as needed.

  • I’ve been with my partner for over a decade now and we’ve explored and learned so much from each other. I truly believe that when we love each other well, we can better love the community around us, ourselves, and all that the land contains. My ideal couple loves each other, loves life, and loves artistic photographs that will last multiple generations.

    I have experience and have enjoyed working with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and people with disabilities. 

    If finances are a concern please contact me regardless. I believe everyone deserves beautiful photos. If I’m unable to meet your needs, then I will do my best to offer a personal referral.

  • Totally! I’m based in Eugene, Oregon, and provide complimentary travel costs within Oregon. Throughout the rest of the Pacific Northwest, (Washington, California, Idaho, and some of Canada), the cost is $5250. Travel cost beyond the PNW varies based on location.

  • I understand the importance of posed group photos and portraits, and have consistently been able to coordinate these in more organic, timely ways throughout the course of an event. My philosophy is not to overpose people. I love seeing how each couple shows up in their own unique way. How you are with each other shouldn’t be interrupted, this perspective allows for more “you” to be represented in photographs. For couples portraits, I look for appropriate times to wander away from the group, relax, and allow the couple to reconnect with each other for more intimate moments before rejoining the crowd to cut a rug.

  • Absolutely! Secondary photographers are available for an additional $1000.

    I personally select my photographers and believe they are personable, professional, and have some awesome photography skills. Some reasons you might consider a second:

    • A second photographer helps me be at two locations at once and gives you additional coverage at your wedding. When I’m focused on important events the second can find more in-between moments, and details all while offering their own creative approach.

    • A second photographer can be a useful set of eyes in weddings with large guest counts, at large venues, or if timing will not allow the main photographer to capture multiple locations at once (i.e. the couple is getting ready at the same time in separate places).

    • There may be cases where you don't want a second photographer. Such as for intimate weddings with lower guest counts (say 100 and below) and at smaller venues. Or If budget is a concern.

  • Yes! I’m an insured photographer through Professional Photographers of America and can provide proof of insurance to venues if needed. This helps protect both of us in the event that I break a leg shredding on the dance floor.

  • If you like my style and approach please reach out. The first contact is often the most nerve-racking but there is no obligation from our initial consultation. We will meet first for coffee/tea, or online. During this meeting we’ll get more information about your wedding or elopement, you can ask me questions, and we’ll see if I’m a good fit.

    After we have our consultation I’ll send you an all-in-one proposal that includes the proposed services, contract, and deposit. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, your day is reserved!

    If you have a particular style in mind that isn’t me, don’t fret; it’s not time wasted and I will try and help link you up with suitable options. My hope is that this is an easy proess for you. I want you to be able to focus on celebrating your love and I’ll focus on taking beautiful pictures.
