Wedding Photography
Documentary-style wedding photography is a storytelling approach that seeks the natural, candid moments, and encourages a mindful presence to your day. This lends to timeless photos rooted in authenticity, while giving you more time to enjoy each other, your people, and the environment. My hope is that you feel like you have a celebration, not a photoshoot.
I strive to make this an enjoyable and seamless process for my couples, so they can focus on their love and ceremony. See the gallery, kind words, and FAQ’s below.

Frequently Asked Questions

I treat my photographs as both art and heirloom. My hope is that your images hold a place in your relationship’s heart and that they become a part of your history. I value photography, seeing it as a beautiful medium to record time and I make sure to study and pursue continuing education to better my craft. And to say I’m inspired by nature and our place in it would be putting it lightly, so I always try to get outside for new ideas.
I approach weddings with a documentary style, often referred to as candid or editorial. This is a storytelling approach that showcases the natural, spontaneous moments, and allows you to be more present on your day. Part of what I love about this method is it lends itself to a more timeless appearance, rooted in authenticity, while giving you more time to enjoy each other, your people, and your surroundings. My aim is for you to feel like you are celebrating and not at a photoshoot.

My ideal couple loves each other, loves life, and loves art and photographs that will last multiple generations.
I’ve been with my partner for over a decade now and we’ve explored and learned so much from each other. I truly believe that when we love each other well, we can better love the community around us, ourselves, the environment, and all that the land contains.
I have experience and have enjoyed working with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and people with disabilities.
If finances are a concern please contact me regardless. I believe everyone deserves beautiful photos. If I’m unable to meet your needs, then I will do my best to offer a personal referral.

My fee for weddings and elopements is $3750 within Oregon. Destination prices will vary by location.
Once we review the proposal, you’ll be able to sign an agreement and submit a deposit (half of the total cost), then your day is reserved! The remaining balance is due four weeks before the event date. You have the option to pay in full or we can work on a payment plan if needed.

Hell yes! I’m based in Eugene, Oregon, and provide complimentary travel costs within Oregon. Throughout the rest of the Pacific Northwest, (Washington, California, Idaho, and some of Canada), the cost is $4750. Travel cost beyond the PNW varies based on location.
Note: I do have an exception here. If you are getting married in Iceland or Antarctica, I will absolutely travel there at a discounted travel cost! -
The number of images varies by time covered. For the average 6-10 hour day a couple receives around 500-800 photos. I select my favorites from the bunch and include those in a "highlights” section. Photos are typically delivered 4 weeks after the event date.
These are a complete set of high-resolution images delivered via Pic-Time, a personal website where you can share, download, and order from a professional print store. You can download both full-sized images, great for printing, and web-sized images which are easier to share online. Send those pics to Granny pronto!
The photos have a complete personal-use license, meaning these are your images and you can print, download, and post as much as you’d like (photo credit is always appreciated but never required). -
I understand the importance of posed group photos and portraits, and have consistently been able to coordinate these in more organic, timely ways throughout the course of the event. My philosophy is not to overpose people. I love seeing how each couple shows up in their own unique way. How you are with each other needs no editing and this perspective allows for more “you” to be represented. For couples portraits, I look for appropriate times to wander away from the group, relax, and allow the couple to reconnect with each other for more intimate moments before rejoining the crowd to cut a rug.
-
Absolutely! Vetted secondary photographers are available for an additional $1000.
I personally select my photographer and believe they are personable, professional, and have some awesome photography skills.
-
Yes! I’m an insured photographer through Professional Photographers of America and can provide proof of insurance to venues if needed. This helps protect both of us in the event that I break a leg shredding on the dance floor.

If you like my style and approach please reach out. The first contact is often the most nerve-racking but there is no obligation from our initial consultation. We will meet first for coffee/tea, or online. During this meeting we’ll get more information about your wedding or elopement, you can ask me questions, and we’ll see if I’m a good fit.
After we have our consultation I’ll send you an all-in-one proposal that includes: proposed services, contract, and a deposit. Pretty simple! If you have a particular style in mind or photographer that isn’t me, don’t fret; it’s not time wasted and I will help link you up with more suitable options. My hope is that this is an easy proess for you. I want you to be able to focus on celebrating your love and I’ll focus on taking some beautiful pictures.
